This week I was doing an exam with a patient who total rocked her program! She took total advantage of the opportunity she was given and just crushed it. She was so excited and happy with her “new” lifestyle her that she cried. She took everything we said to do to heart (chiropractic along with following the In8Life diet protocol EXACTLY the way we said) and her results showed it. She put in the time and effort and now she is heading down a path of health and wellness instead of disease and sickness. She made no excuses, she just did it. She had her challenges (no cheating) but she knew if she wanted to take control of her own life she had to work through the tough time and put in the effort. Her results showed that all her hard work paid off. Now as she has come through to the other side, she said every challenge was more than worth it. She feels better than she has in years. Now all she wants to do is tell others that they don’t have to suffer anymore either.
When I sit down with patients and they over achieve what the thought they could, it makes me cry tears of joy too! I love when I see the light bulb go off above their head and THEY GET IT, the big picture. It’s not about short term fix, it’s about a total lifestyle change to reach higher than they can ever imagine. We always tell our patients the sky is the limit when it comes to either regaining or gaining control of their life. That brings me to the quote of the week. If you want to be at your best you have to want to at your best. We can not help you unless you want to be helped. All of us here at the office want to help anyone and everyone. There is nothing more frustrating than when we see our patients not giving it all they got to reach their goals. It took time to get into the situation you are in and it will take time to get out of it. The point is we all have it in us if and that’s a big IF, we want it bad enough. So how bad do you want it? You will only get as high, as far, as deep and as much as you put into anything. We are want the best for our patients but we can’t do it for you. We can only tell you and show you what to do, you have to do it!
KISS Fact: You will have challenges everyday, if you focus on the bad you will never get the good. Be thankful in all things, good and bad. There is a reason that everything happens. We may not know why but it all works out for our good in the long run.
